Questioning the Ice Age (Somewhere in St. Louis)

Today the United States is experiencing cold, I mean really cold weather. Here in St. Louis, we have snow. True, It is not a lot of snow but the chill that goes with it is shall I say chillin. I am standing silently in my doorway actually wondering when I will be able to leave the house again. The porch is iced over. Now we always prepare for this around January, but it is seriously unusual for the first of December. Although I have not watched the national news, I can’t help but wonder if it does not have something to do with the volcano eruption in Ethiopia.  You know they say It may have been the volcano that caused the ice age. Amazing how something so far away can affect you. Something helps to remind us that our world is still a small place. Still I’m thankful I am still alive  although freezing, somewhere in st. Louis.
